How it works
How Does Jellutide Work? The Gummy, the Blend and the Research Doses
Jellutide is meant to work through two label ingredients: apple cider vinegar and BHB ketone salts, sharing a 525 mg blend in one 2.5 g gummy. Vinegar trials used 15-30 mL of liquid vinegar a day, and ketone studies used grams of BHB. No study has tested the gummy itself, so how well it works is unknown.

The idea01
How does Jellutide work, in plain words?
Jellutide works, on paper, by putting a little apple cider vinegar and a few BHB ketone salts into a daily fruit gummy. You chew one before a meal, and the label calls the result "Weight Loss Support*".
That asterisk matters. It points to the FDA statement on the back, which says the claim has not been evaluated and the gummy is not meant to treat any disease (21 CFR 101.93 (structure/function)).
So the honest version is short. The brand picked two ingredients with a weight story behind them. The studies behind those stories used far bigger amounts than one gummy holds.
Three parts, one chew
- Apple cider vinegar: listed first in the 525 mg blend
- BHB salts with calcium, magnesium and sodium: listed second
- A pectin gummy base with 2 g of sugar and 8 calories
The label prints the blend total, not the split.

One gummy02
What is inside one Jellutide gummy?
One Jellutide gummy weighs 2.5 g. About 2 g of that is carbohydrate, all of it sugar, and 525 mg is the active blend.
The minerals are tiny: 2.5 mg of sodium, 1 mg of calcium and 0.75 mg of magnesium. Those small numbers turn out to be the best clue about the BHB inside.
The bar below lays the printed weights side by side. The parts overlap, because a vinegar powder can carry some carbohydrate of its own.
| Part | Per gummy | Its job |
|---|---|---|
| Apple cider vinegar | At least about 263 mg (our arithmetic) | The weight-support ingredient the brand leads with |
| BHB salts | About 27 mg at most (mineral ceiling) | Sold as "exogenous ketones" for keto fans |
| Sugars | 2 g, 1 g added | Taste and gummy texture |
| Apple pectin | Not printed | Sets the gummy; no gelatin listed |
| Beet root powder | Not printed | The red-pink color |
Every line, word for word, is on the Jellutide supplement facts page.
Ingredient 103
How is the apple cider vinegar in Jellutide supposed to work?
The vinegar idea comes from small trials of liquid vinegar. Acetic acid, the sour part, is the piece researchers studied.
The best-known trial gave adults a drink with 15 or 30 mL of vinegar every day for 12 weeks. That is 750-1,500 mg of acetic acid. Weight fell by about 1-2 kg, then drifted back once the drink stopped (Kondo 2009, vinegar trial).
The gummy's whole blend is 525 mg, and only part of any vinegar ingredient is acetic acid. A vinegar powder in a gummy is a different thing from a spoonful of vinegar in water (CU Anschutz, ACV tonic and gummies).
One splashy 2024 trial reported 6-8 kg losses. It was retracted in September 2025 after experts could not reproduce its numbers (BMJ Group, ACV trial retracted (2025)). Mayo Clinic's verdict is plain: vinegar is not likely to cause weight loss (Mayo Clinic, ACV for weight loss).

Ingredient 204
What do the BHB ketone salts in Jellutide do?
BHB salts are meant to nudge blood ketones up, the fuel your body makes on a keto diet. In studies, that took grams, not milligrams.
Researchers gave about 10-40 g of BHB as salts to see a rise in blood ketones (Evans 2022, exogenous ketone review). One head-to-head study used drinks with 12 or 24 g of BHB (Stubbs 2017, ketone ester vs salts).
Even at 24 g a day, BHB salts added nothing to body-composition results on a strict 6-week diet (Buga 2021, ketone salts + diet trial). Our mineral math caps the gummy at about 27 mg of BHB salts, a ceiling, not a lab result.
Studies
About 10,000-40,000 mg of BHB per dose to raise ketones.
One gummy
About 27 mg at most, by the calcium, magnesium and sodium lines.
The gap
Hundreds of times smaller than the low end of the studied range.
The step-by-step math sits on BHB ketone salts.
The routine05
How do you take Jellutide so it works as labeled?
Chew one gummy a day, about 30 minutes before your morning or afternoon meal, with a full glass of water. That is the whole label routine.
The water helps with the vinegar's acid on your throat and teeth. The 30-minute gap is the brand's timing; no study has tested it with this gummy.
A bottle covers 30 days. More gummies do not add a proven benefit, and the label never asks for more than one.
- 01
Take one gummy
Adults take one (1) gummy a day, per the label. Chew it well. Check that the safety seal is intact on a new bottle.
- 02
Drink a full glass of water
The label asks for a full glass of water with it. Water also rinses the acid from apple cider vinegar off your teeth.
- 03
About 30 minutes before a meal
Take it roughly 30 minutes before your morning or afternoon meal. Keep any prescribed medicine on its own schedule.
- 04
Check in before day 60
The guarantee runs 60 days from the day the package arrives. Decide by about day 50 so there is time for a return authorization.

Does Jellutide work like a GLP-1 medicine?
No. Jellutide is a dietary supplement gummy with vinegar and ketone salts. It does not contain a GLP-1 drug, and no study shows it acts like one.
GLP-1 medicines mimic a gut hormone that acts on appetite areas in the brain. They are prescription drugs, mostly weekly injections (NIDDK, Prescription weight medicines). In trials, the highest dose of one such drug led to about 18% average weight loss over 72 weeks (FDA, Zepbound approval (2023)).
The "-tide" in the name sounds like those drugs. The sales page even claims "GLP-1 activation" (Jellutide sales page). Nothing on the bottle label supports that.
A gummy is never a reason to stop, skip or change a prescription, including a GLP-1 shot. Tell your prescriber about any supplement you add (FDA, Mixing medications and supplements).
The full comparison is on GLP-1 and supplements.
Timing07
How long does Jellutide take to work?
Nobody knows, because no trial has tested Jellutide. The closest data is the vinegar trial, which ran 12 weeks for a 1-2 kg change at much higher doses.
The money-back window is a firmer clock. It runs 60 days from the day the package arrives, and you need a return authorization first.
- Day 1
Check the seal, read the bottle that arrived and take your first gummy with water.
- Weeks 1-6
Keep meals, steps and sleep steady so you can tell what changed.
- About day 50
Decide. If it is not for you, call the order desk while there is time.
What helps08
What does the work if a gummy cannot do it alone?
Habits do most of the work. A steady pace of 1-2 pounds a week is the kind people tend to keep (CDC, Steps for Losing Weight).
Health experts suggest aiming for 5-10% of your starting weight over about 6 months (NHLBI, Aim for a Healthy Weight). For someone at 200 pounds, 5% is 10 pounds.
Movement counts too. Adults are advised to get 150 minutes of moderate activity a week (CDC, Adult physical activity). A gummy can be the cue that starts the day, but the walk and the plate carry the weight.
FAQ09
How Jellutide works: more questions
What is the active ingredient in Jellutide?
The label lists two: apple cider vinegar and BHB calcium, magnesium and sodium salts, together in a 525 mg proprietary blend. Vinegar comes first, so it is the larger share. The exact split is not printed, which proprietary blends are allowed to hide (21 CFR 101.36 (proprietary blends)).
Does Jellutide put you in ketosis?
Very unlikely. Ketone studies used about 10-40 g of BHB as salts to raise blood ketones (Evans 2022, exogenous ketone review). The printed minerals suggest one gummy holds about 27 mg of BHB salts at most, which is a tiny fraction of those amounts.
Why take Jellutide 30 minutes before a meal?
That timing comes from the label. The brand does not explain it, and no study has tested this gummy at any time of day. Taking it with a full glass of water, as printed, is the part that also helps rinse the vinegar's acid away.
Is one Jellutide gummy the same as a shot of apple cider vinegar?
No. Vinegar trials used 15-30 mL of liquid vinegar a day, about one to two tablespoons (CU Anschutz, ACV tonic and gummies). The gummy's entire blend weighs 525 mg, and only part of a vinegar ingredient is acetic acid, the piece researchers measured.
Does Jellutide contain caffeine or stimulants?
The bottle label lists no caffeine source. Its active blend is vinegar and BHB salts, and the base is sugar, pectin, acids, starch, flavor and beet color. The sales page names guarana and green tea, so read the bottle that arrives.
Does Jellutide work without diet or exercise?
There is no evidence that it does. No trial has tested the gummy at all. The approaches with real data are a steady pace of 1-2 pounds a week, regular activity and, for some people, prescription care from a clinician.
